Made for this moment

Fort Worth, in formation.
At sky scale.

From a Cultural District gathering to a Trinity River celebration, Fort Worth offers more than one way to set the scene. We develop a custom sequence around your occasion, with bold images, music cues, and a finale designed for the audience’s actual viewing position.

Starbound Labs designs the show and brings the performance together. Our Spectra drones, in-house firmware, and Starbound OS software connect the creative work with the fleet and team on the ground.

Rooted in Fort Worth

A show with a sense of place.

Local inspiration. A story made for your audience.

Western heritage with your own ending

The Stockyards and Will Rogers Memorial Center connect Fort Worth celebrations with Western and equestrian traditions. A boot outline, a rolling horizon, or a custom emblem can introduce the story without implying a partnership with a local attraction.

Let the Trinity frame the gathering

A riverfront finale can bring a festival audience together around one viewing direction. Trails, water access, bridges, and public circulation belong in the site plan before a proposed show is placed above the river corridor.

Take a company milestone beyond the stage

For a downtown reception or business anniversary, start with the idea guests should take away. We can build from an abstract shape into a product or brand reveal, checking building obstructions and the viewing angle early.

Purple pride and motorsport energy

TCU football and Texas Motor Speedway give local fan events distinct visual cues. Color, motion, and an approved mark can shape a concept; qualifying sports restrictions and the actual event schedule remain separate feasibility checks.

A wedding finale with room to see it

For a private celebration toward the edges of the city, share both the reception location and proposed launch land. Tree lines, fences, livestock, neighboring properties, and access routes influence the production approach.

A city with several aviation neighbors

Meacham, Alliance, Spinks, and NAS JRB Fort Worth serve different parts of the city and region. We assess the complete flight volume and current notices rather than treating all Fort Worth addresses as one airspace case.

Riverfront festival grounds

Panther Island Pavilion

Fort Worth, Texas

A Trinity River event venue with outdoor stages. Assess public trails, waterfront users, downtown sightlines, and a launch area separated from event circulation.

Equestrian & civic event campus

Will Rogers Memorial Center

Fort Worth, Texas

A Cultural District setting for public and private events. Any outdoor concept needs a defined flight area, livestock-sensitive planning, and coordination with concurrent campus activities.

University stadium

Amon G. Carter Stadium

Fort Worth, Texas

TCU requires prior permission for campus drones. Review qualifying football restrictions, stadium sightlines, and an independent launch footprint with the university.

Motorsports & event grounds

Texas Motor Speedway

Fort Worth, Texas

Northern Fort Worth motorsports grounds require review of race notices, aircraft activity near Alliance, audience separation, and the event’s occupied areas.

The airspace is part of the plan

Airports, airspace
& FAA approvals.

The right starting point is your exact venue, launch location, show height, and date.

For each proposed show, we check current FAA maps, NOTAMs, temporary flight restrictions, and the complete flight area. Nearby airports and military facilities are part of that review, alongside other local aviation activity.

Fort Worth Meacham International Airport

North Fort Worth

Official facility information

Include Meacham in the review for downtown, Stockyards, and north-side event sites. Check the exact flight volume and current controlled-airspace requirements.

Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport

North Fort Worth

Official facility information

Cargo, corporate, and military aircraft activity belongs in the review for northern venues, including the speedway area. Current maps and notices determine the applicable requirements.

Fort Worth Spinks Airport

South Fort Worth

Official facility information

For southern event sites, review aircraft traffic and the proposed altitude against the current airspace. Ground permission and FAA authorization are separate matters.

Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth / Carswell Field

West Fort Worth · military installation

Official facility information

Review military airspace, installation restrictions, and current notices separately from venue permission. A civilian airspace authorization does not grant access over a military installation.

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport

DFW metro · outside central Fort Worth

Official facility information

The airport’s regional airspace must be checked against the actual event coordinates and show height. Being elsewhere in the metro does not establish whether authorization is required.

FAA airspace authorization

Where the flight area requires controlled-airspace authorization, we identify the applicable FAA process. LAANC may be available for eligible operations; airspace authorization for operations using an operational waiver follows the FAA’s designated process through FAADroneZone. An airport phone call is not a substitute for the required FAA authorization.

FAA authorization guidance

Stadiums & event restrictions

Qualifying sporting events can trigger temporary flight restrictions affecting stadiums and surrounding areas. We review the applicable notices and show timing; venue permission or a routine airspace authorization alone does not remove these restrictions.

FAA stadium guidance

Show operations & ground permissions

The show plan also determines operational waiver requirements, including a multiple-aircraft waiver where one pilot operates multiple drones. New operational waiver applications use the FAA’s Aviation Safety Hub. Venue and landowner permission, crowd separation, and any local event permits are handled alongside the aviation review.

FAA waiver guidance

Military & sensitive sites

Military installation restrictions are separate from routine controlled-airspace authorization and ground permissions. Check current designated restrictions for the complete proposed flight area.

Do you work outside downtown Fort Worth?

We welcome enquiries for Fort Worth and surrounding communities. Frisco and Plano are separate cities in the wider DFW region. Venue coordinates, rather than a metro-area label, determine the airspace review. Share the full venue address so we can review the actual event location.

Can the show include our logo, names, or music?

Yes. We design formations, colors, animation, and choreography around your story. Tell us which brand elements, personal details, and music matter to the event so we can discuss the creative direction.

How much does an event in Fort Worth cost?

Pricing depends on the number of drones, creative scope, event location, travel, and production requirements. Share your plans and we’ll prepare a quote for your event.

How far ahead should we get in touch?

Contact us as soon as you have a date and a possible venue. Early planning gives us time to review the location, develop the show, and coordinate the event requirements. Availability depends on your date and production needs.

What happens if the weather changes?

Weather is part of the planning and show-day review. We discuss operating conditions and contingency arrangements with you before the event; the final decision to fly depends on conditions on the day.
